WHO WE ARE

WRITERS OF THE RISING GENERATION
WELCOME,

My name is C.L. Butler. I am the founder and creator of the Millennial Gazette, an online magazine dedicated to journalists passionate about sports, entertainment, or pop culture.

In our ever changing digital world we now have the ability to create way more opportunities for people of the world to be heard. I decided to usurp this opportunity by creating The Millennial Gazette. My aim is to provide a platform or medium for aspiring journalists to get off the ground, or who are looking for other avenues to share stories with people, particularly from Generation Y.

My career background includes many years of event management experience in sports and the non profit sector. I am a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH where I earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts, and currently am a student at the University of Houston-Downtown studying Sociology & History.

David Brown Jr

Business & Entertainment Contributor

David Brown is a West Philadelphia native who “bleeds green (Philadelphia Eagles) and loves going to the cinema” at least once a week. Early on in his youth, he was inspired by the great works of films and literature – the Godfather, the Harry Potter series, To Kill a Mockingbird, and the Dark Knight are his favorites to name a few. He is a undergraduate Communications major at Rosemont College, a football/track & field coach, an avid movie fan/critic, a nerd, and most of all an aspiring screenwriter/novelist.

William C. Washington AKA Frazier Black

Lifestyle Contributor

Frazier Black is an up and coming counselor and musician. He attended primarily Jesuit institutions (St. John’s Jesuit High School, Xavier University, & John Carroll University). Currently he is pursuing his doctorate in health psychology at Walden University. Black accredits his ability to be a universal thinker from not only his foundational parents, but his Jesuit upbringing that teaches being a “Man for Others” is the greatest way of life. He has focused in mindfulness, hypnotherapy, and holistic approaches to overall wellness.

Additionally Frazier runs the Washington Wellness Institute, a Cleveland based Mental Health education organization; and Phatbone Productions, a grassroots musician conglomerate for networking. As a Lifestyle Contributor for the Millennial Gazette, Frazier  aims to expose himself and put some of his deepest perspectives to the public eye. He wants to include psychology, positivity, perspective, challenging ideals, and show the importance of being a "radical moderate".

Frazier states, “I think my humor, wisdom, intellect, humility, yet intensity will give this magazine the smoke signals that millennials need, and non-millennials something to follow. We don’t just exist -  and we are looking for the next step in human solidarity. I will be in the forefront whether they like it or not. This is my purpose.”
